Here are a few of the projects we have completed: 

Sales Force Automation Reality Check

The customer had implemented a commercial sales force automation system to automate the market development and opportunity management process.  Market development is the responsibility of a marketing manager and a team of lead developers. The sales executives and account managers use the system to manage qualified opportunities through the sales cycle. 

The customer wanted an objective review of how effectively the current system configuration enabled the market development manager to track the ROI of sales campaigns and promotions. In addition, the customer was looking for opportunities to improve the overall effectiveness of the system via configuration changes. 

The Hera Group deliverable was to document the current process from lead identification to closed deal and to develop a set of recommendations for workflow and configuration changes that will be implemented by the customer within 6 months. 

Competitive Intelligence 

The customer had developed a framework for presenting competitive intelligence on six key competitors to the sales force for use during the sales cycle. The product manager did not have the cycles to update and expand on existing competitive intelligence. The Hera Group integrated intelligence from a variety of sources (emails from sales representatives, analyst reports, competitor websites etc.) to create unbiased overviews of each competitor’s capabilities and market approach. The Hera Group also developed an approach for the sales organization to use to compete against a competitor who had developed a unique competitive advantage. 

Value proposition creation and web copy creation 

After one information-gathering interview (specifically designed to develop value statements) with a customer launching an online credit checking service for cashiers, the Hera Group were able to create copy for the customer’s website that expressed their unique value proposition and solution to a very specific market need.  The Hera Group was then able to propose and draft all sections of their website that followed website best practices including logical website flow and search engine optimization. 

English language correction 

For one Swedish customer whose software package was targeted at English-speaking markets, the Hera Group proofread every piece of collateral, web copy, proposal response and even the help text within the product itself to ensure fluent and grammatically correct use of the English language.
